Fragrantica - I absolutely love this designer house, might be my favorite in fact. Typical Valentino fragrance. You can definitely tell the original DNA is there for sure. It comes off a little darker and fruitier than the original. A little more intense. Nice and fruity in the opening. Great projection. Mid has lavender vanilla and vetiver...Perfect for spring or fall in my opinion but could be worn almost year round.

Fragrantica - Incredible... Absolutely awesome new Valentino release...This takes and blends the original in nicely with Coral Fantasy, I still pick up a little tobacco but it's smoothed out a bit... The vanilla is nice and so is the overall scent profile, and it's a strong performer... You can't go heavy handed with this or you'll choke out a room easily which is a good problem to have. Great release, love it

Fragrantica - I absolutely love this fragrance , way better than the original. Found this at a Sephora in Las Vegas at as soon as I took a whiff , it was an instant buy for me. I love the original and this just takes it to another level. However if you want something on the fresher side , go with the original. The vanilla really replaces that ozonic and salty metallic note in the original which I absolutely love. I would highly recommend trying this one out if you are a fan of the original born in roma uomo.

Fragrantica - I finally got my hands on this today and I absolutely love it! Valentino is one of my favorite houses and this one may be my new favorite. I love Coral Fantasy, but to me this is a better scent. Sure it's not overly complex and it's not as trendy as some of the others but I don't want to smell like every other guy out there. I want to stand out in the crowd and be different! They market this for cooler months but I think it will work well year round. It's not overly spicy and the vanilla although has a whisky barrel scent isn't too warm for spring and early summer.  This would be a great scent for dates, formal events or even as your signature every day scent.
It is intense but it's not overwhelming. It projects well and people will notice you. If we are honest that's what we all want, we want people to notice that we smell good otherwise we wouldn't spend the money. My wife loves this scent and keeps sniffing me when I wear it so that's a win in my book. I give it a solid 10!

Fragrantica - For being a men's fragrance, I loooove this! I accidentally wore this, not realizing this was a fragrance for men. But my date really loved it!  It's a sexy, fresh, lavender fragrance. And you really pick up on that vetiver. This smells way more complex than the notes listed. The vanilla comes through the more it dries down. Very easy to wear in my opinion. It can be dressed up or down.  This leans a pinch unisex, but still VERY MUCH masculine!  It's really lovley.

Fragrantica - Yeah, run quick and go get this. This beat out Sauvage Elixir, Spicebomb Extreme and Tom Ford Ombre Leather at Dillards for me today.  Wonderfull but simple blend of smooth vanilla bean, lavender and spicy wood.  

Fragrantica - At this point in my fragrance journey, I no longer buy fragrances with the hopes of receiving tons of compliments although unsolicited compliments are always appreciated. Stopped for an alignment and the front desk clerk says, "I do not mean to be weird but OMG, what do you have on.....it smells amazing"  I'm 39 and she seemed to be in her mid to late 20's.  This fragrance smells wonderful. If you are looking for a sweet and freshy type scent with vanilla, go for it. Valentino makes some of the best fragrances.
