Shipping policy

Order Fulfillment

Each order is hand decanted, hand labeled and hand packed. Orders are shipped Monday through Friday. We pride ourselves on shipping your order as fast as possible. Shipping may be delayed an additional 1-3 business days during holidays or large sales events.

Occasionally some product will run out of stock due to large orders that come in before inventory is updated.  In the event this occurs you will be contacted via email or text and offered a choice to wait for the back ordered product to arrive at which the complete order will ship or you can be refunded the back ordered item and your order will ship as scheduled.

Shipments are prepared in the order they are received, but if you pay for an expedited shipping option we will work to to get your shipment sent within 24 hours of receiving payment of the additional shipping fees.

If you require expedited processing, please contact us. We reserve the right to request a handling fee for orders requiring expedited processing.

Sampler Pack Order Fulfillment

If a fragrance in a sampler pack is back ordered or no longer available on the site, we reserve the right to replace the sample or refund you for the missing fragrance.

Note: If a fragrance is not listed on the site and only in the sampler pack, this may result in the fragrance being unavailable.  DO NOT ORDER A SAMPLER PACK IF YOU DO NOT SEE YOUR PREFERRED FRAGRANCE ON THE SITE.

Order Confirmation

Once your order is placed with The Perfumed Court, you will receive an order confirmation via email at the email address you provided during checkout. This will contain your order number, items ordered, payment method, and billing and shipping address provided. Please retain for your records.

Shipping Information

A shipping notification is generated when a shipping label is printed. We cannot make any order changes after a shipping label has been printed and the decanting process has been started. Your package will generally be in the mail within 1-2 days of a shipping label being printed. We will send you an email letting you know that your order is being shipped. The cost of your order will be listed on your shipping confirmation email. This is for your reference only and not an indication that you have been charged again. You can also log into your account at any time to see the status (including payment and shipping status) of all of your orders. Please note that if you receive a shipping notice over the weekend, it means that your package will be going into the mail the next day that the Post Office is open.

We can only ship to your billing address until you have been an established customer for a minimum of six months.  Shipping to any address other than your billing address must be approved.

We reserve the right to request a physical address for orders shipped to a p.o. box.

Returns, Exchanges, Replacements or Refunds

We guarantee each and every hand-decanted perfume is authentic and unadulterated in any way.
We hand decant each fragrance as we fill an order from the manufacturer's original bottle. While we can guarantee that your fragrance is authentic, we cannot guarantee that you will like it.  Due to the personal nature of cosmetic items, we cannot accept returns or exchanges or issue refunds.  All sales are final.

We ask that you please inspect your package thoroughly upon receipt. You must notify us of any problem with your order within five days of receipt to be eligible for possible replacement.

All purchases are carefully wrapped. In the unlikely event that there are any order problems, please snap a clear photo of the damaged sample and its packaging, then contact us sending the photo and order number with your contact information.

The Perfumed Court ships worldwide, with a few exceptions due to local import regulations.

Countries We Do Not Ship To: [Insert your specific excluded countries list here, or keep the original list if it perfectly matches your carrier restrictions:

Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Bolivia, Brazil, Brunei Darussalam, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Faroe Islands, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Italy, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Mexico, Morocco, Oman, Pakistan, Paraguay, Philippines, Qatar, Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, South Africa, Sudan, Taiwan, Turkey, Tunisia, UAE, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, Yemen, and Zimbabwe.]

Or any other country that is or may become embargoed by the United States or United Nations as sanctioned by the Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC).

IF YOU DO NOT SEE YOUR COUNTRY WHEN ENTERING YOUR ADDRESS, WE DO NOT SHIP THERE.

International Customs, Duties & Taxes

All customs fees, import duties, taxes, or local clearance charges are the sole responsibility of the customer. Because perfume contains alcohol, transit regulations vary significantly by region. Please familiarize yourself with your country's specific import policies regarding fragrance before placing an order.

  • Customs Issues: The Perfumed Court is not responsible for packages seized, delayed, or destroyed by customs. If a package is returned to us by customs or export control regulations, the original shipping costs cannot be refunded.

  • Shipping Insurance: Insurance can be purchased for any international package. If you choose to insure your shipment, we are legally required to declare the full, actual value of the items on the customs forms.

Please Note on Weight & Security: We reserve the right to request additional shipping fees for heavier packages or to upgrade international orders to a trackable, insured method requiring a signature. If your order requires an adjustment, we will notify you before shipping. You will always have the option to pay the additional fee or cancel your unshipped items for a full refund.

A Word About Delivery Confirmation Numbers

Each U.S. order is shipped with delivery confirmation. This is not a "tracking number," as our shipping service does not offer real-time tracking information. It is typical that when "tracking" your package via their website that it will have no information on the package until the package either reaches its destination or reaches the nearest postal sorting facility. The d/c number is helpful, however, in showing that a package has been delivered, if a package has been mis-delivered or returned to sender. International orders will show the customs form number, but location information is only available until the package leaves the country. Again, this is not a tracking number, and will only provide information until the package leaves the United States. However, if a package is held at customs, the shipping service may show that information on its website.
