Fragrantica - THANK YOU PHLUR. Thank you for making a cherry fragrance that smells like cherry! A luscious, jammy, sexy cherry! It only took 3,000 years but it's happened and I'm over the moon.
Fragrantica - I like this. I was bracing myself for cloying cough syrup, loud jolly rancher, or that burned, plastic-like leather-cough, but the experience was pleasant from start to finish. Bright opening with sugary plum + brandy + fresh dark cherry, then through the drydown the florals shine through. The caramel + ebony + orange (surprising) persists for the next 3 hours, close to the skin. I have to try this a few more times, but I can see myself falling in love with Cherry Stem.
Fragrantica - Cherry stem opens bright and sweet with the cherry and orange brandy, but this doesnt do anything like Cherry Punk. Cherry stem is a little sister to Duchessa I feel. The bright and sweet faded in an hour and the aromatics and woodsy clung to skin. I got ZERO leather, however the caramel and ebony woods come off more spicey aromatic. Saffron, Clove, pepper possibly some nutmeg also in there. Its giving fun n fruity with a darker twist. This is Phlurs BOLDEST scent to date. Its nice but not "groundbreaking". If youre looking for a bold leather and cherry, this isnt it. PS : doesnt come off TF cherryish to me
