Launched in 2022, Tonka Cola by Mancera is a unisex Spicy gourmand fragrance. This scent combines the vibrant and energizing flavors of the kola nut with the rich and luxurious taste of tonka beans. The top notes of Sicilian bergamot, nutmeg, cinnamon, and black cherry provide a burst of citrus and spice, while the heart notes of fizzy cola, Indonesian patchouli, and orange flowers create a lively and alluring aroma. The base notes of Brazilian tonka beans, balmy benzoin, labdanum, and powdery vanilla add depth and warmth to the fragrance.

REVIEWS
Fragrantica - I'm really delighted by this fragrance, which does have some of the brightness and citrus that are required to round out the cola concept, particularly in the opening, though it leans little more to the dark, caramel, spicy side of things, of course with a pinch of the sweet/nutty/sharp tonka to round things out, though the fragrance does not scream "tonka" to me at all, really.
Additionally, it performs well and has a very subtle evolution, predictably a little brighter and sharper in the opening, becoming a little darker and smoother during the dry down, while essentially remaining mostly the same fragrance throughout. I'm not familiar with many cola-themed or cola-dominant scents but this and Hendley Cola are surely my favorites
Fragrantica - Tonka Cola is actually one of the most dynamic fragrances I've tried, to the point that after a few full wearings of my decant, it's hard for me to even associate it with one specific scent overall. The middle of its lifespan (I'd say around 2-3 hours in) is highly focused on cinnamon/nutmeg, reminding me of the category that Chergui or Honey Aoud reside in. The final stage of the fragrance is where I finally get the most experience of the tonka/vanilla and patchouli. It dries down nicely. I got a max 6-8 hours on my skin so far. Not a projection monster whatsoever, but you'll definitely be able to smell it on yourself.
Overall, a really well-crafted and classy fall/winter fragrance, and one of Mancera's best - top 10.
Fragrantica - it opens up with sweet lemon and a cinnamon rich cola fragrance but as it dries down you get a light sweet candied cherry fragrance with vanilla and tonka, the cola remains throughout the life of the fragrance which is really nice if you like coke. But don't over spray, just one spray and a max of two or you will be choked out by an overdose of sweetness.
Fragrantica - WOW this is the best Mancera by far. I am out of the words. I tried Mancera Tonka Cola. I am in love with that fragrance. Next superstar. It smells like enigma, mixed with lost cherry, mixed with spicebomb extreme with heavy dose of patchouli and tonka bean, it changes a lot as it dries down, and i love it so so much, my favorite mancera so far. I like cola cherry spicy combo.
Fragrantica - Definitely get the cherry cola with a lemon twist as soon as I spray it. As it dries down it becomes sweeter and a little spicy. I really like this a lot. It reminds me of what a cinnamon cherry cola candy would smell like in the dry down. I will be wearing this a lot during the cooler months. I can't stop smelling my wrists.. And I love it more and more each time that I do. I'll be buying a full bottle as soon as it becomes available in the US.
Fragrantica - Exactly what I expected & wanted it to be! Starts off as a subtle blast of cherry that's barely there but very noticeable, mixed with a loud lemony syrupy cola. Like you've taken one of those restaurant concentrated soda bags of cherry coke mixed with lemon Pepsi & bathed yourself. Spicy, warm, cloying in a good way. Perfect cold sweater weather fragrance that will definitely go on the top of my list. I cannot wait until this hits the US. I'm happy with it. 8/10. Only because I think the Cherry could have been more potent but it can easily layer with another fragrance to satisfy that crave.
Fragrantica - I get 4 notes from this:
- very natural fizzy cola accord (smell like Pepsi)
- sharp lemon (it creates a Pepsi Twist kind of smell)
- lot of cinnamon (Christmas vibe)
- a little bit of cherry (just an hint, i find it very well balanced) So, it smell exactly like Pepsi Twist with a base of cinnamon and cherry (at the end you can sniff also a little bit of vanilla and patchouli, but the cola accord is still there). My new winter scent, perfect for the Christmas holidays.
