Fragrantica - "I love to bake and this scent reminds me of whipping butter with brown sugar and vanilla before adding it to chocolate chip or oatmeal raisin cookie dough. That little (or ginormous) taste you take before you add the eggs."

Fragrantica - "This perfume is the tonka bean brown sugar fairy of my dreams. This smells exactly like the middle layer of the dessert called 'Christmas crack' that you make with saltine crackers, brown sugar, butter and chocolate chips. It turns into like a chocolate caramel bark. It really is just a buttery brown sugar, slightly caramel and just straight vanilla (despite it not being in the list)"

This is a great fragrance for all year round, any occassion and so versatile to layer with anything, to sweeten it or even add a bit of depth to an overly sweet fragrance as this is not just a straight up vanilla it has a bit of depth & spice to it which is what I've been looking for, for what seems like a LIFETIME sooooo obsessed with this.  I Will always have this in my collection now.  My search for a vanilla I really truly love is over the hype is real & well deserved my favorite from the kayali line now amd I own utopia coco & sweet diamond pink pepper."

I need to purchase another bottle soon because I use this often. I find myself reaching for it for every day and layering it with a lot of different scents. Fragrantica - "Hands down my favourite Vanilla, it's all kinds of perfect to wear alone and layer. My favourite is to layer with D&G Italian Zest, smells like a lemon vanilla cake. I'll repurchase for the rest of my life."

Fragrantica - "So excited to finally try this one! It's pretty much how I imagined it to be. A true deep, smoky, warm vanilla. It's both sweet and a little boozy. I wouldn't say it's entirely gourmand - it does have an iced vanilla cupcake vibe to it, though the florals freshen it up a little, particularly in the opening. Totally wearable year round (maybe not in super hot weather/climates as I imagine it's sweetness could be a bit sickly), but it's warm, coziness makes it perfect for the colder months. Great for layering. Decent sillage, though the longevity could be better. Imo it's a great all-rounder and it's pretty versatile. Definitely sample before buying if you're specifically looking for a true gourmand, otherwise I'd say it's a safe blind buy."

Fragrantica - "People who call this a basic vanilla must be hallucinating, because this is way more than that! I was shocked to not see narciso rodriguez's musc noir rose on the list of perfumes this reminds me of because to me they are quite similar in the drydown but more so in vibe they give off. musc noir rose obviously leans on a heavy rose note though which ultimately sets them apart. vanilla 28 is boozier, slightly softer, and puts more emphasis on the vanilla. but I still find that they have the same cozy, sexy character that makes you want to move in closer and breathe in a little deeper.."
