REVIEWS
Fragrantica - "I really like this. It's soft, sweet, and summery. It almost has a soap, coconut, and solar vibe to it, which is why I think it smells really similar to this: Bubble Bath by Maison Margiela Replica! I kept sniffing my arm like, "I know this scent!! " and finally remembered bubble bath."
Fragrantica - "I'd say this is my favorite of the Glossier lineup. I'm a bit annoyed at how influencer and drop-centric they've become and I feel constantly inundated with ads every time they release something new, but that shouldn't take away from how truly gorgeous and ethereal this scent is."
Fragrantica - "I don't get as much saltiness as others have noted, to me it's more of an apricot and dewy floral opening, with a white musk and cashmeran drydown. The osmanthus-apricot combo is the star of the show to me- it gives the perfect slightly nectar-y soft sweetness that when combined with the classic powdery iris and pink pepper throughline of Glossier You is sooo dreamy. Easy grab for spring for sure."
Fragrantica - "This is worth all the hype! It's my favorite Glossier. Second favorite is Doux. I agree that it smells the most similar to the original Glossier. If you take out the pink pepper of the OG and add some salt and fruity notes you get this."
Fragrantica - "The Osmanthus note is beautiful! I've been a fan of Osmanthus forward scents since Gap Dreams was my go to body spray. It's a little nostalgia in a bottle"
Fragrantica - "Very tart apricot opening, then it settles into a really nice, almost addictive musk. A little salty, a little sweet. I get good longevity on this: 6+ hours of the musky dry down."
Fragrantica - ..."Fleur is EASILY their best. i'm almost glad i didn't jump on this as soon as it came out because i feel like right now is the perfect time for this profile. spring that is sort of all over the place. cold and comforting after storms, salty and dewy and sweet when it's warmer outside. it does smell a lot like you, but i don't think that should be a point of contention. building upon their signature DNA is genius when executed correctly."
Fragrantica - "This is what I hoped Glossier's fragrances would be. I didn't care for any of their other fragrances-they all had an odd mix of burnt sterile notes and pencil shavings. But this one is very different. Despite the name Fleur, it leans more beachy and vanilla-forward than floral. The opening is beautiful-reminiscent of a vanilla orchid, like a more sophisticated version of Sol de Janeiro 59, only more refined and complex. As it begins to dry down, the cashmeran and ambroxan introduce a soft woodiness. Then it shifts into this breezy, slightly salty, sun-soaked, warm, soft floral-reminiscent of Beach Walk by Maison Margiela or the feeling of standing by the ocean as florals drift by on the breeze. This is where the ylang-ylang and apricot come through for me."
Fragrantica - "Eventually, it settles into a cozy, amber-vanilla base. The performance is admittedly weak, and it's not something I'd recommend as a blind buy. But if the other Glossier scents didn't work for you, this one might be worth exploring."
Fragrantica - "If Doux is a trip to the sauna and spa, then Fleur is laying out on the beach after your spa treatment. You can still smell the massage oils on your skin and a hint of the woodiness of the sauna in your hair, but mostly you can smell your coconut-scented tanning oil and the salty sea breeze and the faded cashmere scent of a dryer sheet on your beach towel. I'm slightly obsessed with this for spring/summer, but on me this pulls straight coconut/tropical/beachy vibes."
Fragrantica - "Has the same familiar ambrox base as the original You, but the osmanthus gives this such a fresh, creamy quality that is irresistible! The apricot is also perceptible, but I think is less dominant than the osmanthus, and just gives it the most light, juicy fruitiness - just like catching a whiff of freshly picked apricots. It's an incredibly beautiful and complex fragrance. The woody, almost peppery ambrox takes over in the beginning upon first spray, which is where this fragrance smells most identical to the original You. But then, the ambrox gives way to the creamy osmanthus and the apricot, and the ambrox recedes into the background. The subtle ambrox plus the ylang ylang I think is what gives this scent an overall salty, summery, beachy quality. It's gorgeous, refined, and unique! I can't wait to wear it in the summer, but will definitely be wearing it during spring as well :)"
Fragrantica - "Addictive scent! The perfect spring/summer fragrance. I get a blend of florals and salty sunscreen in the best way. Like how your skin smells after a long day at the beach, with a hint of a garden walk on the way home. I adore Glossier Doux too, but I feel it's more suited for winter, while Glossier Fleur is ideal for the warmer months. It's nice to have both for different seasons!"
Fragrantica - "This is exactly what I thought the original You was going to smell like when it was first described to me - comforting, cozy, creamy, musky, sweet, and clean. This scent is so stunning and so pretty I just want to wrap myself in it. The bottle is also gorgeous and so fitting for this scent."
Fragrantica - "Glossier You Fleur is MORE than I could have ever wanted it to be... wow. EASILY my favorite Glossier Perfume! It instantly gave me nostalgia, bringing up long ago memories of being a child and playing with Claire's makeup sets and walking around Limited Too... I think Fleur smells like if Reve and Doux had a baby. It has that heavy, warm, cozy feeling of Doux, but then florals come in and really really lighten it up in the most beautiful, ethereal way. To me, Fleur smells like a little cherub baby floating up in the clouds... I don't know how anyone could hate this. It's a creamy, floral, skin scent. It's very true to the original Glossier You DNA, but the florals lighten it up, which I know I appreciate."
Fragrantica - "I had a strong feeling I'd love this but didn't expect to be obsessed. The salt note & cashmeran pull strongest on my skin- other notes give it this subtle tender deliciousness. This gives the feeling of waking up in the early evening tangled up in fresh sheets in late spring with someone you love after making out and falling asleep laughing. You're about to get dressed up and go out together but for now the light is glittering through the shades and you're nestled into each other and everything is fine."
Fragrantica - "This smells lovely. It's simple but beautiful. I really get the apricot very strongly, under which is a woody base. Nowhere near as woody as the original You though, which just smells sharp like pencil shavings on me. This is stunning. It's actually a bit sweet, from all that fruit. I don't get any saltiness until the drydown, which for me is a salty wood, akin to something like Vanilla Vibes by Juliette Has A Gun. Overall this scent is creamy, fruity, clean and summery."
Fragrantica - "For me, it's the strongest out of the whole You line. This would be so lovely to overspray on a hot summer day. It will never be overwhelming because despite being the strongest of the You line, it remains a light skin scent, true to the Glossier brand. This is a very summery release, and as someone who lives in a hot and humid climate, I love it."
