Bvlgari Man Terrae Essence is a Woody fragrance for me launched in 2021. The nose behind this fragrance is Alberto Morillas. Top notes are Citron and Calamansi; middle notes are Orris and Vetiver; base notes are Earthy Notes and Styrax.
Bvlgari Man Terrae Essence Reviews
This is a hidden gem. I blind bought this because I was interested in the earthy notes, I am very satisfied with this fragrance. This is a masculine, earthy, woody, slightly powdery fragrance. I can see the similarities to TDH but this has less citrus and more wood to it. It has a classy, refined scent to it. This is some thing I could see a rich man wearing, only I didn’t have to pay a huge price for it. I also get the leather vibe people are talking about but it’s not like a leather jacket kind of vibe, more like a country leather vibe. A very nice masculine scent.
In my opinion it's the next beautiful release by Alberto Morillas. Classic citrus opening, Beautifully made earth accord empowered by styrax (I guess) and blended perfectly with vetiver. High quality and beautifully balanced aromatic perfumery. I know it was inspired by the lands of Toscany, Italy, where earth samples were gathered. I was really curious about new Bvlgari release. I'm delighted. Also it is very versatile and classic fragrance I should add. 8.5/10
I tested this today, wow such an amazing fragnrance, it smells like high quality niche fragrance, one of the best earth fragrances period. good mix of earth and iris wow.
edit: It smells similar to Interlude Black Iris
I really like this so far. Spa like citruses and definitely a smoky type of leather note. I will force my bf to buy it, if he won't, I'll buy this for him myself probably :D
It is very similar to Saharian Wind by Mancera. They are identical in the drydown. But this one is cheaper.
Very clean and uplifting like the others in this line, just in the opening however. Slowly this dries down to something like a root, earthy, vegetal surrounded by light flames, it gives that image, there's a sense of red wetness, a different facet of vetiver comes through in this. A bold detour from this line that usually consists of safe scents. Worth a sample, if the citrusy, earthy orris vetiver notes interest you, some might consider it a distant cousin to the TdH line, but to me this is a little more dark, rugged and tyre-like in the dry down.
I bought this a few days ago and I must have used around 25 ML of it already haha, I can see the resemblance with Terre D'hermes... This one is a lot more dense though ... Alot more earthy, different kind of citrusy, and slightly more resinous I feel.
Lovely fragrance and has something very unique about it... I love the earthy somehow smokey aspect of it.
