Fragrantica - OMG this smells soooo good! Deliciously edible! I can see why the samples had sold out at Luckyscent and The Scent Room. Smells much better than Pink Sugar. It's like caramel and vanilla had a baby and it won the genetic lottery. I can't wait to get a full bottle of this yummy delight!
Fragrantica - This is the love child of tihota and pink sugar
Fragrantica - ... It does smell like sugar/brown sugar. I also get coffee? Not the drink, but like a coffee vanilla muffin with brown sugar sprinkled on top. This is something you can bite into. Very natural smelling imo. I see why gourmand is in the name.
Fragrantica - I instantly loved it. It is a really delightful brown sugar fragrance mixed with a creamy, classy vanilla. I also pick up some nuttiness. I sprayed some on, and then maybe a couple of hours later I ended up taking a shower. Even after the shower, I could still smell it on my arms. After the shower, which was about 1:30 or 2:00 in the afternoon, I sprayed some more on. One spray on each arm and one on my neck. It is now almost 10:00 p.m., and I can still smell it on myself decently. This was a blind buy for me, and I'm very pleased with it. If you like vanilla, it's definitely a good purchase.
Fragrantica - This smells like a brown sugar cupcake or cookie that has been left in the oven a tad bit too long so the edges have caramelized slightly.Yummy vanilla gourmand!
Fragrantica - So, I really do love this one and it doesn't smell like a cheap vanilla. It's well made and quite simple, yet delicious. Here's what I get: Brown sugar buttercream frosting
Something boozy, I was say a very sweet vanilla rum. More like rum ice cubes in a frozen glass cup of ice vanilla bean slushy. Tonka gives the vanilla and 3 dimensional quality, and it's almost a nutty-like aroma. Meaning it's not just a flat vanilla, there's depth to it, like you can bite into it. Imagine crushed walnut covered in brown sugar, and maybe a touch of coconut flakes (without it being a coconut scent). The benzoin note in here is what I think that's making the fragrance divine. The benzoin in here is like a nectar. It's very warm, sweet, caramelic and delicately roasted.
This is incredibly yummy and I'm super impressed! Again, it smells like very high quality French vanilla buttercream cake.
