Fragrantica - I can't believe I'm about to type this so get ready... FINALLY, an Angel that actually has a lot in common with the OG! That 'Mugler' Patchouli is back, that 'Mugler' punch in the nose is back! Surprised to say that I only get a touch of coconut when I spray this, definitely a good thing! This is what Angel Elixir should have been. I can definitely tell that this shares similarities with the OG Angel. I do believe that L'Oreal has listened to us die hard Mugler fans! The longevity is so much better than Angel Elixir too. Angel Fantasm will surprise a lot of people so I would definitely recommend you give it a chance.  To summarise, this to me is a 'sweeter' take on the OG Angel, it has that unmistakable Mugler Patchouli running through it from top to base with a touch of coconut, a lot of sweetness from the Vanilla.

Fragrantica - I ordered this based on the positive reviews here, and am not disappointed! There is a very noticeable similarity with the original Angel EdP and whilst it sounds like a tropical fragrance on paper, I wouldn't wear this on very warm days and really don't get a fruity or summery vibe from it. Rather, the coconut combined with the patchouli produces a marzipany scent, which is delicious! Like the OG, it is heavy and long-lasting and a big improvement on the previous, Elixir version. A safe blind buy in my opinion, as long as you're a fan of the Angel DNA.

Fragrantica - I love it! Very Mugler-esque and I can clearly sense hints of the OG Angel. The opening smells a lot like a pina colada.

Fragrantica - Yes, as I suspected, a sweeter yummier original without the signature bitter patchouli, but delicious choco patchouli instead. It actually reminds me of the Bounty coconut chocolate bars.
Highly recommended even for Angel haters!

Fragrantica - This is so good!!!!!!    It smells like a not too sweet coconut dessert with chocolate - healthier Bounty perhaps lol. There is still earthy patchouli but I smell it as if it was chocolate here. Coconut isn't artificial, it's smooth, adds sweetness. The best they have come up with in the past few years!!

Fragrantica - This definitely has the OG Angel DNA. I personally don't smell much of coconut but I do get pineapple on the initial spray. I also get the same cool scent that OG Alien has for some reason. It's definitely a more wear-able Angel and I do recommend it!

Fragrantica - Opens with a pineapple note, then reveals a mildly sweet coconut + chocolate patchouli scent. It's a summer version of OG Angel, but not too light, still a powerful fragrance. I could see this work on summer evenings and during the day in autumn. Exciting to see the original dna make a comeback after Elixir.

Fragrantica - Pineapple intrigued me so I blind bought based on my previous fondness. It's a beautiful warm sweet pineapple that sits at the top of that completely unmistakable airy yet powerful Angel base. The fragrance is pretty powerful so just four short sprays is enough on me. I don't find the pineapple juicy so if you are looking for that make sure you try before buy. It's sweet, the coconut never taking centre stage as it often can. I love it, its like revisiting a very familiar friend you lost touch with and recalling why you love them.

Fragrantica - Good news, Angel lovers: this is our old, beloved chocolaty patchouli + straight-up dried coconut flesh- very realistic, natural, textured, rough, dense, and edible.  It says "eau de parfum SENSUELLE" on the bottle and the last word describes it perfectly. It is tamed, calm, collected, relaxing, and undoubtedly remarkable. It's warm and alluring which makes it a great cold-weather fragrance, but on the other hand, pineapple lightens it up and turns it into a perfect juicy exotic buttery coconut cake for the summer as well. Not a suntan lotion, but a cake- a real delicacy, what Angel has always been!  I like that it's both strong and warm, inviting, but never cloying, suffocating, or vulgar....Even though Angel has been my signature for 15 years, I've never been able to wear it in the summer. This one, however, is a year-round signature scent.

Fragrantica -  I LOVE Fantasm. I think it will be one of those flankers that people remember and seek to purchase the future. It has Angel DNA (unlike Elixir) but I would say it is a lighter touch, similar to the EDT. The Coconut/Pineapple is prominent in the beginning. Then there is a buttery bourbon vanilla that settles in. This would pair very well with vanilla lotions and body sprays. I only need about 3-5 sprays. Sillage is good. Not overwhelming, but noticable. My daughter didn't know what I was wearing today and said, "Something smells like Christmas Cookies." If you like the Angel Flankers, I definitely think this is one to collect and wear. You will be happy with your purchase.

Fragrantica - LOVE on first sniff! I really wanted to try this when I saw the bottle very seductive tropical cocunut patchouli scent what others described as a love and hate this was an instant LOVE <3 for me! I would want to smell like this everyday of the summer especially on a vacation somewhere warm

Fragrantica - Angel Fantasm is a modernized Angel, a kind of remix of the original, made to appeal to new tastes in the matter of perfumery. The formula still contains patchouli, but it is idealized, easy to wear, that fantasy we have about something or someone. It seems to be a real Mugler compared to the rest of the flankers that appeared in the post-Mugler period. The coconut is just a background note, adding creaminess to the composition without that beach perfume or tan lotion effect.  In my opinion, it can be tried by those who have never reconciled with Angel, they might have a pleasant surprise.  Its stand very well, projects just as well.

Fragrantica - YES! In my opinion, they finally nailed it. After the first spray, I braced myself for that screeching, sharp note I had smelled every time I attempted to revisit Angel. (Perhaps an overly aggressive or different use of the patchouli?) ..And it never came. This is creamy, smooth, soft, comforting and sensual. And as I caught whiffs of this on myself my mind went straight back to those early days when Angel was magical for me and made me feel like a femme fatale. I know everyone has different opinions, but as for me, I am so grateful this formula is finally close to the mother Angel of the early days. So much so, that I am buying a full bottle tonight and having it engraved, and for me that takes a lot as I am very picky. Good stuff. If you are searching for that original fix..give this one a go..she may impress you!

Fragrantica - I gave myself a tiny spray on the back of my hand. My car was suddenly filled with the unmistakable scent of Angel...but with a soft twist. Fantasm packs a punch like Angel, but with a snappy pineapple bite. She quickly softens into a creamier version of the OG. The unmistakable patch and chocolate are there, along with a very faint natural (not like tanning lotion) coconut and a touch of vanilla. Decent projection (which I am ready for after the COVID years), and excellent longevity. It's not generis but unique like her blue sister. Fantasm totally wearable if you're an Angel fan. L'Oreal gave us a gem with this one!!

Fragrantica - Angel Fantasm is my Angel! Up till this release I was mostly an Alien girl. But this version of Angel is absolutely scrumptious in my opinion. Coconut, tiare flowers, pineapple, patchouli, amber, vanilla, what's not to like about it??  It's a sweet, creamy tropical floral, fruity, patchouli, gourmand heaven!
