Aventus is inspired by the dramatic life of an historic emperor who waged war, peace and romance on terms he set, riding on horseback to victory.
- Top notes: Finest blackcurrant, Italian bergamot, French apples and a burst of royal pineapple.
- Middle notes: Exquisite roses with a complement of dry birch, Moroccan jasmine plus a hint of patchouli.

Smells great...tart/fruity, patchouli, smokey. Familiar yet strange at times. Lots of compliments. Also Aventus is an EdP not an EdT.

I love this cologne! I keep coming back to purchase more! This is a MUST have for your cologne collection. I have received PLENTY of compliments about this cologne. It has to do something with the deep oak moss with a little hint of vanilla that catches people's attention. Its great for the club scene in Miami!

Pricey, but don't sleep on this masterpiece!! Can't stop smelling myself!
From WHATMENSHOULDSMELLLIKE - "Aventus Cologne opens with a fresh citrus note centered on mandarin. Apple and pineapple are key notes in the original. Creed don't list them as notes in Aventus Cologne but I still perceive something green and fruity in the opening along with spicy facets of pink pepper and ginger. As with so many fragrances, a list of olfactory notes does little to describe what I smell. For me the beauty of Aventus is the masterfully balanced composition of zest and unripe fruit with bleached woods and marine undertones."

Men enjoy the oakmoss base notes as they emerge together with the sweet pineapple notes. At this time, hints of vanilla should balance the sweetness of the fragrance.
