Bvlgari Au The Vert was launched in 1992, created by Jean-Claude Ellena. Originally the scent was developed as part of the Dior Fahrenheit project, but The Vert in its final form didn't fit, and it went to Bulgari as their first entry into the perfume market. A citrus aromatic, it has become a classic.
With notes of Green Tea, Bergamot & Neroli - Bvlgari Au The Vert is refreshing and gorgeous!
2025 Marie Claire Fragrance Awards - Best Eau de Toilette
Eau Parfumée Thé Vert, launched in 1992, was initially designed as an exclusive gift intended to cater to the close circle of the Maison’s top high jewelry clients. With Eau Parfumée Thé Vert, Master Perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena captures the irresistible vitality of the young Green tea leaves as well as their vegetal, grassy, and refreshing aroma. The signature citrus aromatic skillfully combines green tea notes with a luminous floral accord of neroli petals. The fizzy texture of bergamot essence mingles with crispy, young tea leaves to recreate the timeless, rejuvenating pleasure of being immersed in nature, imbuing all the senses with new energy. The silhouette of the flacon is inspired by the robust elegance of ancient Roman columns. The design is embellished by the iconic glass décolleté symbolizing a sensory experience as rich and intimate as wearing a jewelry creation. A crackled inlay adorns the beige gold cap and echoes the tradition of celadon ceramics, which originated in China. The front label is enriched with new hand-drawn botanical illustrations, meticulously crafted by a French botanist and exquisitely embossed.
Bvlgari Au The Vert Reviews
Bois de Jasmin - "I find that the most beautiful aspect of The Vert is how cleverly it interprets the classical citrus eau de cologne theme, rendering it fresh, memorable, and above all, timeless. The bergamot and pepper provide the immediately recognizable and alluring freshness, but at the same time, The Vert feels soothing and tender on my skin, in contrast to the exhilarating brightness of of a classical cologne."
Basenotes - "Bulgari Cologne Au The Vert is a beautiful, elegant, subtle fragrance. It opens with a soft gentle green citrus-on the card the cardamom and the rose come through clearly, but I cannot separate them out when I spray the scent on my skin. Then comes the tea note-a clean note with a mossy touch that is one of the most pleasant notes I've encountered in a long time. Doesn't really smell like tea but it smells enough like tea for me to know that it is supposed to be the tea note. As far as longevity is concerned, I have found that, just like Bvlgari Pour Homme, it lasts longer than one would think, but I still have to refresh often. A wonderful, delicate fragrance, Bvlgari Eau Parfumee Cologne au The Vert is simply endearing."
Fragrantica - "This is one of those amazing scents I love so much that I've stopped wearing it at intervals of time so I can experience it fresh all over again."
