Launched in Feb of 2016, Giorgio Armani Code Profumo is an oriental Spicy fragrance with Notes of green mandarin, green apple, cardamom; orange blossom, lavender, nutmeg; tonka bean, amber and leather.
It still encompasses the masculine and sensual intensity of Armani Code, but profumo is built around the addictive tonka bean note. With a warm and glowing amber accord, Code Profumo introduces a new opulence to the contemporary classic. Its key notes of tonka bean, cardamom, and woody amber are addictive, explosive, and rich.
REVIEWS
Fragrantica - I personally prefer this flanker out of any other in the Armani Code line. I do like Absolu a lot, but this stands out much more. Which is why I'm sad to hear that it has been discounted along with the Absolu, since they were the best out of the line. I get a slight hint of root beer mixed with leather and spices in this one. It's a scent that many would love. I recommend you get it if you find it at a store.
Fragrantica - I love this fragrance, and it's time to buy another bottle again. But, unfortunately, I see that this one has been discontinued.
Fragrantica - One of the most legendary fragrances EVER made. I wore this on and off through the years from store testers and have INTENSE memories tied to it since 2018 summer. Root beer over black leather purse with a touch of green vanillic Apple.
Fragrantica - I was totally blown away when I first sprayed myself. (Gobsmacked) I was hesitant when this first hit retailers because I fell for the opinions that insisted this was way too sweet! No way, this is perfect!
Fragrantica - Powdery, sweet root beer. Smells heavenly. This is really really nice. Amazing fragrance for nights out. I have Absolu so I probably won't buy this, but yeah it's just as good in my opinion. These two are so much better than the OG, and the new EDP versions in my opinion.
Fragrantica - I really love code absolu, but I love profumo even more...Absolu is not balanced as well as profumo is, profumo opens up like 1 million and then dries down into this beautiful oriental and powdery sweet dry down but it's complex and changes scents from opening to dry down it has depth....I don't get that with absolu, it opens up sweet, it still has a little bit of that powderyness but no where as good as profumo is. Profumo is WAY better than absolu!!
Fragrantica - Oh man how i love this fragrance. So well blended and lasts for hours. I'm in love with very sweet scents like Ultra Male, Eros and Invictus, just simply because they work so well for me during nightouts and especially clubbing,
Fragrantica - I love it! Tonka bean amber and leather! Great for night out! You will be noticed for sure! Ladies going crazy for that! Huge compliment getter! Date clubbing inviting totally sexy! Go for it!
Fragrantica - I wanna down myself in this perfume, that is how much i freakin love this.....A freakiin masterpiece....Long Long Lasting one too10/10
Fragrantica - Another amazing Armani fragrance. A good attention-grabbing cologne. I agree that this cologne is a goddamn aphrodisiac. Opens with a rich, yet soft, sweet blast of tonka, cardamom, and amber. That's all I really get to be honest. For non-fragrance connoisseurs, it smells like a dark, leathery, boozy caramel. Definitely one of the sweeter fragrances I have tried and one of the best smelling....9/10 love this fragrance
Fragrantica - This is perhaps my favorite warm fragrance. I love to wear it in the cold. It hugs you like a warm woolen blanket which is partly cozy and partly prickly (that's how real wool is). I say this because this is not just warm with the Tonka - but also has a certain pepper like sharpness to it (for my Indian audience let me be bold enough to say it has the nilgiri/eucalyptus like feel to it which you'll get in pain relief balms. But very slight, so don't be mislead). It is warm, spicy and has decent longevity and silage. It projects subtly and actually comforts you in the cold. ... 8/10 (I love the Unabashed sincerety given to Tonka in this)
