Fragrantica - When I was little, I used to collect rose petals in a jar and dry them. After a few months, the scent of the wilted, dry rose petals, condensed, smelled beautiful, green, rosy, and powdery—exactly like this perfume. It symbolizes concentrated beauty that lasts long, never fading, and transforms into something truly beautiful, florally fresh, soapy, and elegant.
Fragrantica - My bottle of Anais Anais has arrived today and it smells pretty much just like I imagined. White florals on a green, mossy base. And I can smell lily of the valley! Pretty lovely. I thought it would appear more dated, but no. Will definitely have fun wearing this.
Fragrantica - Soft, clean, breezy, angelic, feminine, powdery, slightly sweet... If I had floral printed Laura Ashley bedsheets I'd make sure this scent lingered on them! Perfect for bedtime or spring mornings. Cottagecore vibes. P.S. I'm off to get those sheets now. 🤍
Fragrantica - with this L'Original version, I was worried it wouldnt have the same magic as the original, but my goodness it does. It reminds me of a cold face cream/lotion. In fact, I used to own the Embryolisse Lait Concentré cream and that scent always reminded me of Anaïs Anaïs. I just adore these kind of scents. 💚
Fragrantica - IM OBSESSED. Idk if my nose "reset" after my pregnancy...
Anyway, SO many notes but extremely well blended, all I get is this very clean white bar of soap. White musk, thick & a bit sweet & enveloping. Im on my 2nd bottle and wear it after all my evening showers, over unscented lotion. I wake up to it all over my pillow and sheets. It's SO delicious. Bonus: my husband LOVES it.. he buries his face in my neck. 10/10. I also layer it with vanillas and LET ME TELL YOU its FANTASTIC.
Fragrantica - I really like it - true powdery floral! It has an old school, vintage vibe but I actually like such perfumes. This scent has a comforting effect on me, feels like being covered under the flowery blanket. Hyacinth is really strong at the beginning, but then softens and blends well with other notes. If you’re into strong, powdery florals then I definitely suggest you giving it a try :)
Fragrantica - This.. this is what Mother Earth gave us to enjoy on the first warm days of the year. When the trees start blossoming and the birds start chirping. Such beautiful realistic florals without any compromise made to any of them, no cleaned up white florals, no artificial aquatic freshness, just pure heady beauty.
Fragrantica - This formulation probably isn't exactly the same as the original version--oakmoss is highly regulated now by IFRA--but it smells close enough to my memories, and I don't have an original bottle with which to compare it. It's a very good bargain at this price, and don't let the EDT designation fool you into thinking that the performance is lacking. This baby throws!
Fragrantica - Lovely, simple, white floral. Brilliant value for money.
Clean, fresh and airy. Perfect for after the shower relaxing. Feels optimistic and hopeful of brighter, lighter, summer nights which currently, in the depths of the grey, bleak Northern winter makes me happy! 😊💐
On me I find it's mostly hyacinth, airy, light jasmine and white musk.
Suitable for any age and any occasion really. Perfect antedote to all the heavier gourmands currently doing the rounds.
Fragrantica - So I absolutely love this perfume. I can smell the honeysuckle, lily-of-the-valley, jasmine and rose. I do love all those notes, but what I do not usually love, however, is the powder notes in some perfumes. In fact, I think it ruins many of them……but not here. This is not a powder poof to the nostrils. In Anais Anais, it adds a very feminine whisper of youthfulness. Not youthful as in juvenile, but more like a young woman.
