Fragrantica - "This is my favorite from Dossier. I love it. It smells so expensive!!! I like it better than Black Opium actually. Its slightly less deep and to me smells sweeter and slightly more feminine than the og with less of the coffee note. Its just the perfect oriental vanilla. Its also so nice to have this scent in a nontoxic version because Dossier is a cleanish brand. It also lasts forever on clothes, 8 hours plus."
Fragrantica - "I own 6 Dossier fragrances, and this is the best one. I also own Black Opium, and feel this is a nice dupe, however it's much lighter, which some people seem to prefer. When I run out of both, I'll only repurchase Ambery Vanilla."
Fragrantica - "I own this and I've smelled Black Opium many times before and they are literally like a 97% match. I don't get the coffee note and it doesn't smell as strong as Black Opium but other than that, they're pretty much the same. I actually prefer that it's a little weaker than Black Opium because super strong perfumes can be head ache inducing sometimes. It lasts very long on clothes. Fancy, sexy, mysterious smell. I'm looking forward to buying more dupes from Dossier."
Fragrantica - "This is such a great dupe but I agree with others who say it isn't as "deep" as the OG. The coffee note is quite a bit more subtle in the Dossier version, but I really like this, possibly even more than YSL! (Score!) I'm wearing this today on a "mild" Michigan Summer day...but I cannot wait to wear this when Fall comes around and this can really shine. To me I prefer this DNA on a cozy rainy fall day, snuggled up with my coffee on the couch, snuggling with my dog and cats. While some view this as DNA for clubbing, I view it as a cozy, snugglefest scent. Haha!"
Fragrantica - "This is soft and warm. It's not as deep as Black Opium. The coffee note in black opium is stronger. But they dry down exactly the same. It's a great dupe for me."
Fragrantica - "This smells like the best version of a fancy toasted marshmallow in a bottle. It's pretty sweet and gourmand. (To me,it doesn't smell artificial,or sickly) It's just mainly a sweet, toasted, and good enough to eat type of perfume. Very little fruit/floral notes. I don't really get coffee, licorice or even much patchouli at all. Not sure how else to describe this. It's seriously so nice."
