Celestial Object by Liis is a unisex Woody Aromatic fragrance launched in 2025. It is an Eau de Parfum, EdP.
Notes: Quince, pink pepper, incense, almond, rice paper, labdanum, tonka bean
We are made of stars-- mystery, light, and infinite possibility. Celestial Object is a fragrance born of that cosmic connection between body and sky, its name drawn from the language of the heavens. A radiant opening of quince and pink pepper shimmers like constellations through a luminous haze, while almond and rice paper anchor the scent in soft, tactile warmth. A barely-there incense rises like a whispered prayer to the cosmos, and a deep accord of tonka and labdanum unfurls with the richness of midnight skies. The result is intimate, radiant, and as mesmerizing as stardust on your skin.
REVIEWS
Fragrantica - Smells so cozy and fluffy. subtly sweet. like a warm towel. will make you want to be cozied up in bed.
Fragrantica - Crunchy Quince opening, dries down sesame on me and I love it.
Fragrantica - This smells just like an almond cookie you get from Chinese restaurants, which I absolutely LOVE! This is a gourmand lovers dream. I don't get much, if any, incense or labdanum and I'm very surprised to see those notes listed. I mainly get almond and rice paper.
Fragrantica - This is a beautiful almond scent. There's something about it that feels like fresh air - it's solar and breezy and sweet, but well grounded by the starchy rice paper. There is something a bit lotion-like about the scent. If I smelled it on someone else, I wouldn't immediately assume it was a fragrance, but instead a cosmetic. As with most Liis fragrances, this sits very close to the skin with little to no projection.
Fragrantica - Smells like Strawberry Mochi perfume by D'annam with a blend of Blanche Bete. Comforting pillows of sweet flakey transparent rice. Makes me think of clouds, pretty faces and milky ethereal colors.
Fragrantica - This is sweeter and more (ambery-)gourmand leaning than I had originally anticipated, yet somehow it smells exactly like the notes say, which I feel is pretty uncommon. It's on the stronger side for Liis, but isn't pungent. Longevity is a minimum of 6 hours for me. This opens with peppery quince and a distinct and starchy rice note. Unfortunately the rice doesn't stick around long, and the scent settles into a slightly-acidic sweet amber that gives a hint of biscuit....I think if you enjoy scents like Messy Sexy Just Rolled Out of Bed, this may be up your alley as something just a little weirder. To me, this is only slightly feminine leaning due to how sweet it is,
Fragrantica - Delicate nutty sweetness that reached a soft, neutral-beigey comforting dry down. As a whole, Liis hasn't put a single foot wrong with any of their releases. Celestial Object is another well crafted offering from the brand that plays in a less typical arena of notes. The fruity and vanilla forward rice combo reminds me of Tuttotondo's "Riso", but this is a superior scent overall. The light starchiness of this fragrance is playful and presents itself as a gourmand with commitment issues ie. never fully taking it there. I personally like that because it never feels cloying. There is something very innocent about this scent profile and the silage itself is quite intimate.
Fragrantica - The rice note gives this a slight pandan aroma. SE Asians, ya'll know what I'm talkin about. Jasmine and basmati rice contain the same chemical compound found in pandan that give them that fragrant sweet aroma. This one is lovely! P/S: If you have an issue with the quince note, this one is not for you.
