Fragrantica - :Of course it's being voted as "similar to" TF SB.... but to me this one has a heavier base and the vanilla is prominent. It's less floral and airy smelling than SB. this is actually really good and wearable for more than just tropical vacation. I think the bottle describes the vibes of this scent perfectly. It is lighter on the coconut and heavier on the vanilla & ambrox combo. I think this a really good summer scent all around."
Fragrantica - "It opens with a soft creamy coconut milk note, that turns very quickly to florals. These radiated much more than I'm used to with JHAG perfumes. Definitely picking up on the Ylang Ylang and gardenia notes. It's really a beautiful combo. As it dries down you start to pick up the warm vanilla and musks that help to really balance out the florals."
Fragrantica - "Instant feeling of being on a beach vacation, wearing a half-transparent tunic and sipping a mojito. I'd take this one with me."
Fragrantica - "A really interesting solar fragrance which is summery and beachy in a non-traditional way. The opening and heart of this one is all bursting, blooming white florals. Normally strong white florals give me a headache but for some reason, they don't bother me in Lust for Sun; there's something lighter and airier about them here than white florals usually are. Ylang-ylang and creamy, milky, fresh coconut intermingle with the white florals to help tone them down. The drydown is a soft, salty, vanilla-musk which really ties everything together and helps blur the whole image out, like a soft-focus photo of a sunset on the beach. I really like it!"
Fragrantica - There is a beautiful coconut note in the top but it's not the star of the fragrance. From the very first spray, the most dominant notes are the white florals. This is a very bright white floral dominant fragrance, not a beach tropical fragrance. It's completely different to Vanilla Vibes, which is more airy, salty and has a stronger coconut note.
You can think of Vanilla Vibes as your daytime, sandy beach fragrance, and Lust for Sun as your more elegant, evening summer party fragrance. It's absolutely stunning and would suit late Spring and Summer weather very well.
Fragrantica - This is a very feminine fragrance. Very white floral forward... the coconut is there, and it's a little bit lotion-y but the citrus and florals are definitely the star of the show....This is also beautiful layered with Sunnyside Up or Vanilla Vibes.
Fragrantica - Really interesting take on a tropical floral. Starts out super heavy on the ylang-ylang. It's almost too much, kinda smells like latex but also kind of addicting. Coconut comes out more as it dries down, and what's WILD is that the bergamot does too!? Especially on fabric, I'll smell lingering bergamot for days. Didn't even know that was possible. There are other tropical florals I like better, but I think this is a really great release!
Fragrantica - Got a FB. To my nose this is veeeeeeeeeeery gardenia forward, then the jasmine and solar warmth. It does give off rich b**** beach vibes but it's not quite what I was expecting with the look of the bottle and notes. I definitely like it and plan on using it frequently this summer! I am a sucker for any type of solar scent.
