Launched in 2024 and created by Anh Ngo, Sakura Snow by d'Annam is a unisex Floral fragrance with Notes of Cherry blossom, snow, solar notes, juniper berry, muguet, white musk. this is an eau de parfum, edp
The austere beauty of winter in Japan, a perfect subject for the evocative minimalism of haiku, is also an intensely compelling olfactory tableau- the crisp chill of winter air, an early bud of cherry blossom, and a bright ray of sunshine melting the soft powder snow. This is Sakura Snow, a poetic and gently compelling portrait of the cherry blossom tree at the turn of seasons. On a bed of fresh, musky snowfall, warm solar notes illuminate a smooth, delicate cherry blossom note accented with clean muguet and aromatic juniper. Lovely, gentle, and deeply, compellingly relaxing, Sakura Snow is a meditative beauty.
D'ANNAM SAKURA SNOW REVIEWS
D'Annam - So fresh and clean smelling. A great floral scent for winter and spring. This smells like sitting under a cherry tree in bloom during the first snow-melt of the season-still winter but the sun is shining.
Luckyscent - I love this so much. It smells like literal snow on top of cherry blossoms. Stunning and unique, with good sillage and longevity.
Sakura Snow Fragrance
Fragrantica - This was the unsung hero of the Discovery Set 2 for me...The crisp, icy, frosty quality of the fragrance permeates beautifully throughout the day, with the cherry blossom never becoming cloying or soap-like. The musk does some heavy lifting here to round everything out, but I'm not sure if it's ever an amount of musk that becomes too strong anywhere in the lifespan of the scent. It's more of a skin scent for me, but it doesn't vanish within an hour. I want a full bottle.
Fragrantica - This is so special. It gives me a similar vibe to Chloe EDP, with cherry blossoms and a distinctly 'icy' crisp feel. Very delicate, beautiful and feminine with surprising staying power.
Fragrantica - A very fresh, clean, and musky floral scent with a touch of crispness to it that makes it feel "cold". The opening is a bit sharp for my liking and a little *too clean in a hand sanitizer sort of way, but it quickly subsides into a much softer, musky, heavily cherry blossom and lily of the valley medley. I will say this isn't JUST cherry blossom, as the lily of the valley is very strong here, paired with a touch of aromatic juniper and plenty of musk.
Fragrantica - at first spray, it's very green but still with a translucent and uplifting quality. the longer it stays on me though, I start to feel like the musky qualities of this fragrance come out. even though the initial blast of greenness of the muguet and cherry blossom fade into the background, it literally feels like a snowy scent bubble develops around you. subtle but pretty and refreshing
Fragrantica - I knew I would like this but I didn't expect to like it this much.
At first spray, it's fresh and clean, borderline soapy and just a little powdery. Cherry blossoms, juniper and the lily of the valley/muguet make themselves apparent right away. It remains this way for a few hours.
Around the three-hour mark, it really develops and shines. The cherry blossoms and muguet are still present, floral and heady, but now the solar, snow and-to a lesser extent-musk notes emerge to bolster them. No longer soapy or powdery, you are suddenly in a cherry orchard on the first warm day after a snowstorm. It's still winter but the sun shining, the snow is melting and the blossoms are dewy.
The watery aspect of the snow note lends a very refreshing quality to the scent, while the solar notes and musk lend it some warmth and depth. For the remainder of the wear, it stays much like this with the cherry blossom and snow slowly fading until you're left with a clean scent like fresh linens.
Overall, I was very impressed by this perfume-due not only to its scent but also its longevity and sillage. It lasted on me for 12 hours and, though it was a cool day, the projection was reasonable. This floral is cool and fresh in a way that would work well in almost any season.
