Pegasus Exclusif by Parfums de Marly is an Amber Woody fragrance for men launched in 2020. The sensuality of the much-appreciated vanilla is given a twist within this fragrance, with notes of amber and wood combining with a floral heart of jasmine, lavender, bitter almond and geranium. It is finely balanced with bergamot, pink pepper, cardamom and heliotrope.

Top notes are Cardamom, Heliotrope, Pink Pepper and Bergamot; middle notes are Bitter Almond, Lavender, Jasmine and Geranium; base notes are Vanilla, Guaiac Wood, Agarwood (Oud), Sandalwood and Amber.

Fragrantica - I really am in love with this one, almond is one of my favorite notes in fragrances and this one pulls it off beautifully. The original pegasus leans a little a bit feminine to me but there is nothing feminine about this one. Masculine, sweet and unique. Absolutely love it!

Fragrantica - Now this smells like whatever they added in here to make it 'Exclusive' is the same dna juice they added to the bottle of Layton Exclusive that i purchased. So i've concluded that PDM made up a new dna juice, called it 'Exclusive' and added it to both of the original formulations for both frags. I found that interesting and hope this helps readers with understanding wtf this 'Exclusive' flanker is all about.

Fragrantica - Yes, this is very similar to Layton Exclusif....but there are subtle differences. The opening (which is similar to Layton Exclusif) has the most addicting top notes I've had the pleasure of putting my nose on. The smoky/marshmallow Exclusif DNA is there but is backed with the Pegasus almond note that it's known for. This releases all the happy endorphins!

Fragrantica - This is a beautiful bittery-sweet fragrance. it's very woody and vanilla-ish at first, but once it's fully dried and in your skin, it smells of vanilla and almond, but more on the bitter side. I don't smell any of the flowery or fruity notes though... The performance is great. One spray on my wrist lasted at least 8 hours, and the sillage is fairly moderate at first. It's warm so it's perfect for nighttime and cold days! The scent is almost unisex, but it still leans more towards the masculine side.

Fragrantica - This 'Exclusive' juice they add is really indescribable. It's strong and it's complex! I've never smelt anything like this in perfumery to date. The first things that come to mind with it is that it is made up with green cooking herbs - and not the common ones people use on a daily basis, like Tarragon. There is also a strong rich dose of Guaiac Wood mixed in with it........It smells like wealth, the kind of manly powerful guy that has money, is not completely modern, doesn't know what to pick out in elegant perfumery to smell amazing so he just choses this fragrance kinda guy.  I keep thinking wealthy Dubai/European wealth power-suit beard type of guy, and maybe even Northern California long hair & beard one-with-nature and rock 'n roll type of guy like Jason Momoa.  The kind of powerscent a CEO or boss would wear to let his underlings who is the alpha in the company.
