Fragrantica - "Doux is unusual in it's adaptability over time. It's first minute out of the bottle projects that Santal 33 similarity, however, this quickly fades. Overtime, it definitely develops into something more reminiscent of Le Labo's Another 13. Yet, it's heady palo santo notes anchor it down as a fragrance of its own. I agree with other reviewers, it reminds you of somewhere expensive. For me, it smelt like a distant memory of an art gallery in Japan. It's clean, fresh, yet fragrant and spicy. It's unique, easy to wear, and can definitely pass as a unisex fragrance. It's projection and longevity is good, much better than Glossier's You and Reve. I could smell it on me from morning until the evening. If you're worried about the projection and longevity of Glossier's perfumes, than perhaps you should reconsider investing in them as they are advertised as skin scents. This is why I like them."

Fragrantica - "It is good! I quite like this fragrance and the soft, creamy, cool vibe it evokes. I'm shocked that this doesn't list santal/sandalwood as a note as I get that a bit more than palo santo. What I love about this, though, is that I don't find it as harsh or pickley as a lot of sandalwood scents. It has a soft creaminess to it that I love. Very cool girl coded. Will definitely reach for this one, and prefer it over Reve significantly!"

Fragrantica - "This perfume really surprised me. Upon first sniff, my impression was less woody and more clean and musky. Finding the balance between musky and clean seems to be a Glossier hat trick and I'm here for it. It definitely dries down sweeter, although still unisex. I agree with the reviews that say this is a skin-scent and an enhancer. If you're looking for a scent that will make people think you smell good, this is for you. If you're looking for a scent that will make people think your perfume smells good, this may not be for you. It reminds me a lot of Dirty Rice by Borntostandout. I get a similar lactic, spicy, cleanliness as Dirty Rice, but a bit sweeter and cleaner."

Fragrantica - "I love this perfume so much and so did the 20+ people at work today who complimented me on it. Very inoffensive, soft and comforting like someone could believe you just smell really clean like you'd had a bath or shower with lovely natural smelling bath products. I much prefer this to the original!"

Or an artist. The ambroxan and ambertte ensure that the fragrance will never lean too "mass-market". It's price is high enough to turn away the people who don't care about perfume, but low enough to ensure it's accessibility for real perfume-heads. I love love love that it amplifies your natural body chemistry as well as whatever lotions, oils, and soaps you use. Doux is versatile. You can take it to your 9 to 5, a poetry reading, a rave, or an after-party. It can easily replace an entire perfume collection because of how versatile it is....If you want to smell good and make an impression, just put it on. Final note: I heard someone on TikTok describe this as "witchy grandma" (Abuelita brujaita) and I was like yes. Yes, that's it. Wear this if you want to smell like a hot, witchy grandma."

Fragrantica - "It's really lovely. Extremely pillowy and smooth but with some intensity. I could smell it projecting at arms length for about five or six hours. It settled down into the smooth ebanol/sandalwoody smell mixed with Amber at the end....It's a very interesting scent."

I've had it on my wrist for about 4 hours now and keep getting lovely wafts of the scent. Each time I fall more in love. Also, I am not a fan of Santal 33, Doux is nothing like it."

Fragrantica - "I have been a fan of glossier you for YEARS since its launched, i own every product from the line and i truly thought it would always be my fav scent... doux is somehow even more perfect... it is also SO much more long lasting than glossier you (tip: the glossier you lotion helps the perfume last for FOREVER). i would say it leans a bit more feminine on the side of unisex (you is much more truly unisex) while glossier you smells like the feeling of just stepping out of the shower... glossier you doux smells like like the feeling of someone you love just showered and is currently giving you a hug!!!"
