However after about 10 minutes the sesame cuts through, so does the more aggressive smokey cade accord with hints of vetiver. Throughout the composition I am getting a lot of tonka, with leathery woody and slightly warm metallic facets.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eFragrantica - wow... if you like cosy winter cafe gourmands, this might just be it. What a gem\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eFragrantica - First sniff I get pastry all the way. A beautiful, buttery, almost nutty, freshly-baked croissant.  This doesn't last too long because the tonka and coffee notes start coming in and taking over. There's still a pastry undertone to the scent, but a milky vanilla coffee comes through - not a super sweet vanilla coffee, but definitely gourmand. There's a warm toasty note beneath the coffee. It's like you're sat at a cafe eating a croissant and your coffee has just arrived to the table!  This settles into the most beautiful woody gourmand smell. Sits close to the skin and is absolutely unisex. There's no saccharine sweetness to be found, just a beautiful buttery toasted vanilla.\u003cbr\u003eCannot sing this perfume's praises enough. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eFragrantica - Love this one! Lasted on me all day! This is a straight unisex.  There is an obvious parallel with Maison Margiela's Coffee Break (which i also have and use), but where the MM one is underpinned by the contrast of lavender, this one sticks firmly in the gourmand space and really does vibe buttery croissant with a little sesame twist... suffice to say I will big bottle buy this one too.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eFragrantica - It's very well rounded and gourmand, like those tiny little cakes with almonds and coconut scraps on them. The coffee is very present in the opening and is the sole reason i keep reapplying this. It is soon softened by notes of milky caramel and vanilla, whilst the sesame and tonka come together to create a pastry impression. It's not really *that* sweet though, and actually has a slighty salty and buttery undertone; it really does smell like croissants and coffee! The perfect unisex scent imo. I was hoping for something truly carb-like a la Jo Malone's Green Wheat and Meadowsweet, but it's more akin to KOPIKO Coffee Candy. I want to smell like this on a moody day, sipping on hot chocolate while having another Gilmore girls marathon. End of the story, your macchiato never came, and as the true coward you were, you did not voice your concerns to the blonde bisexual barista with an eyebrow piercing (she was hot you did not want to embarrass yourself in front of her... fine i get it). It delivers the ideal balance of creamy coffee, musk, and vanilla-exactly what I was looking for. I particularly enjoy layering it with Coffee Break from Margiela. Upon initial dry down, it sits intimately close to the skin, with a pronounced emphasis on sesame and wheat. I appreciate how it avoids being overly sweet, unlike other scents that attempt to replicate various confections.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eFragrantica: This dark roasted coffee is a pleasure, especially with caramel and almond (coumarine) aroma. Nonetheless, I sense vanilla and tonka more and instead of creamy, milky capuccino, the smoky and dusty base pulls down the fluffiness of the scent. Sesame should represent crispy croissant, but it is oily. Croissant Cafe is not what I expected, but it's an interesting fragrance worth trying. (I bet it will make me to love it.)\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eFragrantica: This is a cafe scent done different! this isn't overly sweet or insanely spot on gourmand, it's a super woody, aromatic and creamy vanillic coffee scent. You get the coffee right at the opening, a dark roast with sweet vanilla bean creamer with milk and caramel cubes. Then comes the comfiness of a small dimly lit cafe. You get a toasty and warm sesame with woody and earthy florals, an aromatic air here. The cafe has wooden walls, cabin style, with freshly picked wildflowers sitting at every table as a centerpiece and the air of freshly roasted coffee wafting in the air. Then comes a warmly spiced tonka bean with a sweet musk and vetiver. This feels like a memory of the cafe you've just left, its remnants leaving behind its sweet aromas and cozy atmosphere.
