At least for now. A beguiling, aromatic chamomile, embolden by incense, delivers an energizing introduction to the star of the show; a dense and buttery iris. The iris has an evolving facet throughout the life of the scent, sometimes sticky, sometimes mildly sweet, sometimes almost a hint of caramel, but always delicious and remains through the dry down. The combination of the chamomile and incense at the opening with the dry down notes lend to an ever present balsamic and layered character. Like a pot of brown butter slow simmering with lots of iris, a bit of vanilla, pinch of brown sugar, and chamomile flowers sprinkled on top. This is uplifting and energizing, while comforting at the same time. This is warm and sometimes powdery. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eFragrantica - Luxury in a bottle. I tend to like my amber scents a little more incense forward and gothic, but this is very pleasing and safe.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eFragrantica - Very unisex, earthy, spicy and slightly bitter.
