It seeks to invigorate, and pulls you into its rampant lushness. This soon yields to more floral elements of green, but they do not steal the show. These florals are a supporting cast, they sing the praises of viridescence in the woods, shading and adding some contrast.  Misty undergrowth, foggy violet leaves, and woody pungency bring it all home. Definitely a variation on green that would be well appreciated by those who love Chanel No. 19 or Jacomo Silences.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFragrantica - Sharp, green beauty.  I get a neroli-infused Galbanum green... and dry Bergamot in the opening in a perfect olfactory model of quintessential green. Green-infused Ylang-Ylang surges up within minutes, with my favourite violet notes trailing just behind but these are not dominant and they are there primarily to augment and provide a setting for the emerald green at Futur's heart...Its green, green quintessential green in an almost bitter, glorious ode to a cool, leaf-abundant atmosphere filled with dryads and sylphs. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eFragrantica - Wow! Where has this been all my life! It doesn't smell anything like what I expected. I thought it would be greener And more vegetal, which I wouldn't have minded. Instead it opens with a sharp, soapy blast that reminds me of my vintage EDT Chanel 5. Then the flowers start to emerge, with violet being the most prominent. It's not a super sweet violet because of the green and soapy notes. Vetiver grounds it. It's a very interesting take on violet. Really good blind buy for a violet lover. It does remind me of No 19 \/ No 19 Poudre which isn't a bad thing but I think I prefer Futur.
