It replaces that sweetness with a warm, dry, woody crackling oud.  Opens with a bright and crisp aromatic notes, a bit of spice. The spices are not easily discernible but it smells very \"autumn\" like. You can definitely smell the oud throughout which gives it a slight medicinal vibe. It doesn't particularly change a lot, to my nose.  Totally a deeper and more mature version for those who loved the original. The Oud note is safe; not animalistic in any way. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eFragrantica \u003c\/strong\u003e- Oud is GORGEOUS. Its LEGIT ; Caramel buttery popcorn, skanky leather biker seats, \u0026amp; Fog machine smoke. Literally Halloween in a bottle! Like Trick or treating on a motorcycle on Oct 31st with those popcorn balls in your candy bag and burning leaves in the background. This is not super romantic - this is evokes like cocky damaged bad boy to me. Yet can still be a date scent- just increasingly more sexy than average. Cocky boy on a festive dark playful holiday. Such a conundrum....Sweet, salty, sharp, skanky, animalic, edgy, \u0026amp; dark. AMAZING! ... I LOVE THIS\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eFragrantica \u003c\/strong\u003e- I'm hooked. Originally got a 50ml and now a 100ml backup.  I'm a fan of Intensely and Absolutely but this was a whole new level.  The open is deeeeep, rich and rivals the more opulent niche openings. The oud has a VERY slight medicinal touch but that disappears very quickly and the oud gets sweet and spicy. The chestnut and the sweet boozy note come up thru that opening and it just melts together into a fragrance blend that's really amazing.  As the oud sits back a bit the familiar SWY base comes up to carry the fragrance thru the drydown.  A genuine 9.5\/10 and a strong buy recommend.  Projection, sillage and longevity are ALL well above average to very long lasting. This has no shortfalls aside from the fact that it's a flanker. It's a flanker that has exceeded to original IMHO.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eFragrantica\u003c\/strong\u003e - this smells simply devine omg !!! Its by far the most long lasting from the line and the smell is incredible. It starts with a really intense vanilla lavender scent with a strong background of leathery smokey oud with a powdery sweet note on the back which balances the oud making it less animalistic and hard to wear.  On the dry-down, the oud really opens up and becomes much more floral and smokey and woody while the leathery smell seems to go away almost entirely and just stays in the background, and the SWY DNA starts to show up more, as on the first impression this smelt like nothing from the SWY line at all. And finally, at around the 9-10 hour mark this starts to smell like the original SWY but slightly more woody and smokey which of course comes from the Oud in this fragrance.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eFragrantica\u003c\/strong\u003e - Here you will find something INTENSELY wearable.  I mean ABSOLUTELY zero skankiness. This will not induce pearl clutching amongst old ladies.  Just remember, if a genuine oud fragrance is the ONLY thing you're looking for, then you should FREEZE before you pull the trigger on this.  So at the end of the day, it's the same SWY dna you already know and love, oh, and with a bit of spicy LEATHER too.  All Stronger With You Puns aside, this iteration might be the best in the line.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eFragrantica \u003c\/strong\u003e- man what a beauty!
