L'Artisan Iris Pallida

L'Artisan Iris Pallida was developed by perfumer Anne Flipo, who also did the two prior scents in the Harvest series Fleur D'Oranger 2005 and Fleur de Narcisse 2006.  The notes include lily of the valley, orange blossom, Turkish rose, anise, violet leaves, cedar, vetiver, iris absolute, ambrette seed, white musk, gaïac wood and patchouli. 

The earthy base notes ofter a nice depth & warmth to this scent leaving out the often found metallic notes of Iris. This one has a slight creaminess to it & the gaiac wood....well I love gaiac wood, its a favorite note of mine. Perfect for a man or woman....this smooth, velvety version of woods &  iris is a winner in my book!
