Monocle Magazine which is a global briefing covering international business, culture and design, has teamed up with Comme des Garcons to launch a series of fragrance creations.  Hinoki is named for the hinoki cypress, a tree that only grows in Japan.  This is the wood used for building palaces, temples and shrines.  CdG Hinoki is the scent of the hinoki wood, greenery, frankincense, and moss created after soaking in a hinoki wood bath in Kyoto.  There are additional notes of turpentine, camphor, cedar, thyme, pine, Georgian wood and vetiver.  This is an absolutely incredible fragrance!!  Hinoki is an eau de toilette, edt.
