Indigo was created by Spyros Drosopoulos under the brand name Magnetic Scent and originally launched in 2012 with notes of mastic or lentisque, hibiscus, rose, hyacinth, angelica, incense, atlas cedar, sandalwood, amber and ambrette (musk mallow). Spyros Drosopoulos then relaunched Indigo as a slightly altered version under brand name baruti in 2015 - This is for the New version of indigo - To try the original version click HERE
The inspiration for Baruti Indigo was the bright blue summer sky, with music playing in the background and where the never-ending bustle of metropolitan life becomes an unreal noise. Named after the color of an endless summer sky with its incredible depth of color, Indigo is meant to give you the feeling of being up on a roof terrace and as the noise of the streets and people penetrate up to the roof, the sound seems dampened and pleasantly far away while you revel in the sky for a while. It features notes of mastic resin, hyacinth, rose, frankincense, cedarwood, sandalwood and ambergris. There is also an additional note of the mysterious in-house oud replica known as Nooud, which is also available as a standalone fragrance in the collection. It is an eau de parfum, edp.
